Solo exhibition at Titanik Galleria Turku, Finland
Weightless Mass is a multisensory exhibition by Timo Aho that explores the boundaries between perception and experience. It examines the human relationship with both built and natural environments, as well as the systems that shape reality and our perception of it. The exhibition features works in a constant state of flux, forming an experiential entity where each piece interacts with the others. In the front space of the gallery, an inflatable sculpture trembles in continuous motion, while the lighting conditions of the space shift with the weather. An interactive sound installation filters modified city sounds into the gallery space, blending with nature sounds from a multi-channel video installation, creating a unified auditory experience.
The exhibition is supported by Finnish Cultural Foundation and Arts Promotion Centre Finland
