The Hand is standing in front of a window, facing toward the last glimpse of the sun rays on a summer solstice evening. The Moon Globe depicts human achievements and ambition, it is collaged from the printed images of James Nasmyth´s and James Carpenter´s moon studies from the latter part of the 19th century. The Cross with its blinking lights is pulsing, sometimes restlessly, sometimes changing smoothly from green, red, and purple to blue, all surrounded by black waves painted on the walls. This installation looks into the eye of a contemporary world and the challenges it is facing. The title is borrowed from Black Sabbath´s song National Acrobat.
